Trapdoor spider story

You could hear the sound of machinery echoing out into the air as you went onto the regular walks in Araignée forest which itself lay within a town of Araignée which was north of Aliaque forest, the entire area having two points that made it stand out from the rest of the forests nearby. The first was that the boundaries of the forest were a perfect circle which seemed like an impossibility at first but the entire layout of the forest was rumoured that due to an earthquake causing a gorge where the outline of the crime was, causing the forests unique trees and the town to be trapped within it and made them not grow out of the forest ever since. The town proper was a quaint place with only a few hundred people living inside of it and most of the houses being cabins built out of the wood of the forests with the only businesses that were nearby being a small shop and a logging company that would sell their wood to the nearby towns. The second point was that the entire forest was utt...

Strogg story

It was another long, hot day on Stroggos as you walked across your usual patrol route with your crew, the hot sand burning up against your shoes and face as the wind blew across the ruined planet, your gun resting in your hands and causing them to sweat in the process. You had been stationed at this outpost for several months now, being part of one of many battalions that were sent as the invasion of Stroggos had entered its second phase which meant that humanity had made some significant ground against the occupants of the planet after two previously failed invasions against them. The reason humanity kept going back to the planet was for two reasons, one of them being because the place was a major industrial area which meant production could be increased tenfold and secondly because the occupants of the planet were so dangerous and deadly that it would be better if they were annihilated once and for all. Those creatures were known as the Strogg, being that were built out of the ...

The Wendigo story.

The leaves would blow against your feet as you walked through the twisted and corrupted woods of aliaque forest, your gun clenched within your hands as you got ready to shoot anything that moved, any movement out of the corner of your eye causing you to spin around immediately to where the thing moved too. The entire forest was dead to the core, the trees having no leaves and instead just having these long, atrophied branches moving across the sky whilst the trees themselves were devoid of all birds and the ground was devoid of any mammals and insects, leaving a carpet of dead leaves resting underneath you. Usually no human being would go into the forest unarmed or alone due to what lurked within it but now they wouldn’t even be near the forest, your car being parked in the closest area that you could park it in due to the disturbance of a creature known as the Wendigo. The Wendigo was a great and evil creature, lurking around the dead woods at night and killing eagerly, spreading bloo...

The milk of human kindness part 3

Another hot day had befallen the once vibrant city of Boston which was now a nuclear wasteland split into various groups with varying amounts of hatred towards you with you wondering sometimes if the people of the wasteland were more dangerous than the animals that were lurking around the hellish place. The smell of rotting flesh and god knows what else was potent in the air with the slight scent of lead moving through the air, seemingly from all of the fighting that had occurred before you had shown up with you still having your gun in your hand as you entered the outpost in the desert. You had been sent there to claim the settlement back from them, taking all of your ammo and weapons with you in case things got ugly only for you not to use them, much to your annoyance since you had to lug most of it across the barren wasteland and much to your partners rage since she didn’t get to murder anything as you promised her. Talking about your partner, you had somewhat of a special rel...

Trimaxion Drone Ship story

You could feel as your eyelids weighed against your eyes as you started to wake up, feeling a sense of coldness around your brim as your blurred vision obscured the roof with you figuring that it was too early for you to be getting up, moving your hands as to grab ahold of your covers and pull them up over your body. Instead of the fabric and softness of your covers, you felt the cold air move around your eyes, your eyelids suddenly feeling as light as feathers as you realised that you weren’t in your bed anymore as your body would quickly acclimate to everything around you, revealing that you were laying on some cold metal surface. You quickly picked yourself off the ground and looked around you, seeing nothing but a set of metal walls which seemed to be extremely reflective with you looking down to see you were in nothing at your underwear which was somewhat of a relief as it was the only item of clothing that you actually went to sleep in. With that came the next question of w...
