  It must have been about two weeks now since you had managed to make a new home within the grand forests of Planet 2398QA of which the trees covered your back with your leaves from the massive sun, the heat of the forests meaning that you were constantly sweating and panting due to thirst. You had initially been sent here by the imperium of man in order to kill the threat known as the Tyranids, a race of murderous beasts that would descend from the sky and murder everything that moved in order to harvest genes to make them better predators which were why the imperium wanted them destroyed. You had been sent into one of the deep forests of the planets in order to hunt down the Tyranid and tell them where to bomb so that you could be free of the menace but that was when you had been ambush by several smaller Tyranids and then “convinced” to not kill them via copious amounts of sex.   The night had been uneventful so far and in a way you had been thankful for that as it was pouring down outside, a cascade of rain hitting up against the glass and the metal as you waited for your radio to turn back on and for a call to come through from the station as you drove across the highway.   You were a long way from planet earth now, hundreds and thousands of light-years away on the planet designated as “Planet 2398QA”, a largely uninhabited planet hidden under a larger than average sun which burnt the sky’s and boiled the blood of which the Imperium of Man had glossed over for a long time. It was simply another planet in the vast emptiness of space of which had not been used as a strategic point between the chaos legions, the Necrons and every other Xeno horror that lurked deep within the darkness of space. That is why you were so surprised to see that you had been told that you were to be stationed there and since the planet was so close to the chaos battlegrounds but then it was revealed to you that you were fighting an entirely different threat.   It had been a long day for you and your family on the farm with you sweating your ass off as you had to shave the sheep your father owned, getting wool all over yourself and getting kicked in the chest a couple of times by the baaing beasts in the process. After that, you had to clean out all the faeces from the Cattle pens before driving around harvesting crops for a few hours which was absolute torture thanks to both the heat of the engine pushing up against your face and the heat of the sun moving against your back. Of course, the night has quickly come around and as such brought a breeze with it, cooling you down somewhat and ensuring that sweat wasn’t making your clothes stick to your skin as he looked at the night sky and shut your blinds, knowing you’d be free to do what you want. You looked over to the door and walked over to it, pulling the doorknob carefully and gently as you heard the gears twist in the mechanism before you opened up the door and looked into the darkness.

  The Sprawl was once a city bustling with one million people that had been attached to one of the shards of the moon Titan but since the kit breaking had occurred the space station had become a ruined city that would be more fit for demons to walk around than human beings. Of course, there were beings that were fit for hell walking around the Sprawl and those beings were known as the necromorphs which were revived human corpses that had been horribly twisted to have blades, spikes and armour all built out of formerly human flesh. You had no idea where the outbreak had started with the only info that you got was that it was caused by a “Marker” of some sort with almost everyone in the ship being dead including most of the security with the rest of them, including you, had been hold up in the government sector with the doors locked, hoping that they would be unable to come through. The past couple days in the sprawl had been hell for everybody on board, not that most of the people had lived long enough to even know what had been happening in the doomed station with you and some of the security team managing to survive whilst other survivors had been scattered around the area after all that had been done. There were many theories how the fall of the Sprawl had occurred with some people thinking that it was a curse by god whilst others thought it was made in one of the station's labs with you thinking that it had occurred due to the Church Of Unitology breaking into the mines one night and finding something they shouldn’t and then all killing themselves. That was when the dead bodies had been rebirthed onto a new being, twisting and mutating horribly into the nightmares that you had been fighting with corpses and corpses mutating all over the Sprawl with the creatures being known as the Necromorph.
