  It has been so long since humanity has completely collapsed in on itself, centuries after centuries of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons of all variations constantly assaulting the planet turning it into something entirely unrecognizable, a managed mess of a planet that had equally as mangled citizens. The entire planet had been placed into zones from mutated to least mutated, the least mutated zones already having all sorts of horrors within them but the most mutated zone, simply known as zone one, was the place where nightmares had came and died, the entire area falling into what you could only describe as a massive orgy. As soon as you touched down in zone one you had witnessed what were men and women, deformed beyond simple comprehension with bulbous and tumors heads that lacked eyes, and drooling mouths that had lacked lips, their bodies being even more mutated for pleasure.   The wasteland was a dry and dirty place, particles of dried out mud and sand blowing across the air, some of it flicking across your eyes and some of it flicking across your tongue, your gun resting by your side and thankfully being adapted to make sure that nine of the dirt blowing around the place would jam the gun. You had done your best to provide a safe living for yourself and your partner, managing to be so stocked up on weapons you’d make a armory blush and having pretty much everything to survive for a good few months, the only resource that you needed really was the caps which you easily got from assassinating a couple of people.   You could feel a distinct pain moving across the entirety of your body as you were thrown into yet another wall by your attacker, blood oozing out of your body in several places as you picked yourself off the ground, facing the yellow woman that was attacking you in the process. The fight between you and her had been going on for several minutes at this point, initially starting as just punching each other but it had evolved into you using anything you could to take her down and the woman using her unique biology to help herself during the fight, the woman revealing some of that biology to you as she walked up to you.   You had always had a fear of the dark since you were a child, the never ending void that was the darkness in your old bedroom always filling you with dread wherever you went to bed, your eyes being clenched shut in a desperate attempt to avoid what could or couldn’t be hiding within the darkness. Of course, you would quickly learn one day that things did lurk within the shadows, waiting for you to step out of them or simply just choosing to watch you from the abyss, hiding when you even went to see the light, the shadows shifting into the void again when the darkness was banished from the room.
