The blue tomb

The first time that you had gone into your basement was about a week ago, mainly because you had to move the rest of your stuff onto it after the sale on your old home actually got through after ages of tinkering and pressing the prospective buyer to give the full amount of money. You had no reason to go down into the basement as the fuse box was in the garage and everything else was littered across the house so the basement was only used as a storage space, the place feeling cramped despite its size and the darkness hiding the mould away from anyone who would look. You were loading various boxes into the basement when you saw it, a single excuse wooden board on the floor that you wanted to move back into place until you realised that it was above a massive house, taking the wooden board off to see what appeared to be a deep passageway within it. You would come back to the hole once you got done taking your stuff into the basement, taking a crowbar and tearing off all of the wood tha

SA-X story

You had been on this research station for days now, looking outside of the windows into the dark abyss of space the station was tumbling through with the stars being brighter than the lights inside of it as you looked across the camera to see the emptiness of the blood-covered halls as you thought about what had occurred a few days back. You had been attacked by pirates for scientific information on a project the station was assigned to, the pirates stealing the information and massacring all of the researchers in a variety of gory ways and scavenging anything you could use to escape for parts. You had only survived by hiding in a space between the maintenance wires and the metal flooring, the pirates murdering people right over you before you could ensure you were safe and that you could escape, managing to get over to the headquarters before sending out a distress call so that someone could come and rescue you from the battered station. Your hope was quickly dwindling as you waited

Greta the gremlin story

You had no idea what you were expecting when you were working at the Clamp centres laboratory given that the man in charge of the building was always the eccentric one given the fact he had always put money into vaguely dangerous topics but it seemed he had overstepped his mark this time. He had to manage to acquire some creature known as a Mogwai called Gizmo, a furry ape-like creature that didn’t seem to be hostile at all and didn’t even seem like it could defend itself that much. But there were some rules that you had to follow to make sure the creature didn’t evolve into what was rampaging across the facility now, these rules being not letting it into the sun, not feeding it after midnight and don’t let it go anywhere near water with the facility following the first one but the second and third were soon both broken by the end of the night. It turns out splashing water on them causes them to multiply rapidly over the course of a few moments with the eating of food causing them to

The worm-that-walks story

It had been a long night, the darkness seeming to choke the air as you walked around and looked up at the black sky, the moon shining down upon you as you looked across the dirt and grass of the ruins that you were investigating, twisting around as you heard a bush rattle in the air to see that it was nothing at all, much to your relive. You were at the ruins of Gluoite castle, a castle that went back to medieval times which was promptly raided during one of many walls and abandoned ever since, leaving it to crumble and erode with the sands of time. You could see the moss on the walls, leaking and pushing out across the bricks, mud covering the pavement with the wood being so waterlogged you could squeeze it and water would ooze out like a sponge, parts of the wood having long and thin worms inside of it which reminded of you of why you were here. You were here to look for a creature known as the worm-that-walks, a creature that used to be a female medieval necromancer that was found

She waits for you

You laid in your bed within the darkness as you heard your clocks ticking from your desk, looking outside the window to see that the moon was covered with dark grey clouds meaning that it was almost time and everything was almost ready. The clock had moved to 11:59, the red light of the numbers on the alarm shining out onto your eyes as you waited for it to tick over just one minute more, that minute feeling like it was taking a century to arrive. The clock would flash before going blank for a moment, with it now being midnight on the dot when it flashed back, your heart skipping a beat as you looked outside into the window to see the clouds had consumed the moon completely. The time had now come, something that you were both excited for and terrified for as you shut your eyes and began to get out of your bed. You grabbed what you needed to, a phone and your driving license, and pushed them into your pocket as you moved through your house silently, not a whisper coming from anywhere
