Under her spell

You were running through the twisting forest and overgrown grass that was underneath your feet, your bow and arrow resting in your hands as you ran, the string pulled up and getting ready to strike, your eyes glancing behind you to see if she was still after you and the shadow behind you proving that fact. You would quickly turn back around trying to gain more distance from the being that was behind you,the sounds of her hitting the trees with her appendages echoing out into the air, growing louder and louder as she drew closer, your eyes looking up at the sun shining through the leaves. You would turn around, barely looking at the creatures before you would shoot your arrow at the beast, your head turning around before you could see if the arrow had hit or not, the creature responding to your shot by starting to move even faster towards you, her limbs now slamming harder and harder into the wood and leaves. The being that was following you was known as Baba the witch, a being that had

Slave to the hive

The sounds of hundreds of thousands of gunshots echoed out across the air, the dark sky completely filled with the lights of shells and exploding starships, the smoke rising and hitting your face with the smell of burning metal and boiling blood lingering against your nose as you kept running. You had been brought here for the soul purpose of assaulting and cleansing tyranid hive world 765, placed between two outposts of the imperium and having been a thorn in the side of them for a long time and as such the cleansing had begun, not a single inch of the planet surface not being engaged within total war. Most of your regiment had been either killed or kidnapped by the beasts to use as fodder for their gene stealing habits, the snarls and grunts of the beings around you being heard for just a second before another round of artillery fire slammed down into the ground like lighting, the smoke thick in the air as you coughed somewhat. The tyranids themselves were a monstrous race, the bes

In the sand

You could feel the cold air push against the skin as you would walk between the mountains, the dust that came from them hitting you in the face and winding into your hair, a cough escaping your mouth as your eyes looked into the blood red sky, mainly to see what was above you more than anything else. It was nothing but clouds that would push across the red sky and nothing else, something that would make you sigh with relief as you kept walking forward, not putting your guard all the way down but feeling more relaxed that you wouldn’t have to dodge from above to escape from whatever lived in these mountains. Of course, you know of one being that lived in the mountain, the one that you had been brought here to kill after all, and that beings name was Shara Ishvalda, your hands reaching down to take out a crumpled piece of paper so you could be reminded of its special abilities. Shara Ishvalda was an elder dragon that had lurked the mountains for many years before you were born, the dra

You would watch as the rain would drip down your cars windshield and onto the floor below, the sound of the water echoing as it rammed against the metal echoing out into the air as you thought about your life at this point, resting your head in one of your hands in the process. Your life had been going less than well, having a falling out with your parents over a couple things including the fact that you had failed to get a girlfriend yet and the fact that the estate agents that you worked at was struggling to sell houses due to the rising house prices, leaving you with a last chance bid to get the company to to stay above the water. Said last chance bid was a surprising one since the company had found that there was a mansion that had remained unowned for several years and they figured they could sell it at a maximum profit for minimum effort and they had sent you to see if there were any issues with the house that could cause it not to be sold. You would have waited for the rain to
