  Everybody knew how the game was played by now but you never expected to become one of the players until you were picked off the register and they were sent to hunt you down with you now living isolated and alone, away from anyone else except when you went to very, very quickly stock up on supplies so you wouldn’t starve.  You had no idea about who was in charge of the game and why all of humanity had were playing it but one day something hijacked every single TV, Phone and computer in the planet and broadcasted a list of a thousand people followed by telling them that the game had begun before saying that they would be back tomorrow to pick another thousand. They were and more and more people were added to the game day by day with no one having any idea what the rules were at first which meant you were more than frightened when the game masters has picked you to become one of the next players, something now hunting you at all times as you would think to yourself about what the rules

  You hadn’t had the easiest life with you already starting off with a rather poor and destitute family but you had ways of making it work even when you had to go to less than savory lengths to get what you want but things had quickly gone bad to worse when something attacked your village one long autumn night. You remember looking right out your window to see a pair of glowing eyes right at the edge of the village, the eyes staring right at you before jumping into the house that was right next to it, screams echoing out from far away as more and more eyes appearing and moving into houses with you eventually being able to see what the beasts looked like when they wandered closer to your house.   You had been lurking around the deep edges of the rainforest for a while now, long and far away from any civilisation that you could contact you with you going on a quest to do one thing and one thing alone and that was to catalog every single species that you could and then return to the city with plenty of knowledge and quite a lot of money as a bonus. Of course, it hadn’t been easy getting to this point with you having it fund your way out to Brazil and then to the rainforest, making sure that you were properly prepared for what you were going to find within and taking a tracker with you, just in case that you got lost in the forest since you did want to survive this little adventure of yours. Now you were deep within the jungle, the hot and humid air pushing against your skin and insects flying all around you, feeling the air with the ambient noises of buzzing and the flickering of small wings as you trudged through the dirt to find yourself a few new species in the green.
